Peter’s interests focus on modelling packaging processes for flexible packaging materials such as heat sealing, thermoforming and web handling. His mission is to transfer scientific results from thermodynamics, mechanics and adhesion to simple models for practical usage in development and operation of packaging machines. To date Peter has published conference papers and journal articles on optimum machine settings for packaging machines.
- Peter received his diploma in Engineering from Technical University Dresden (TUD) in 2019
- From 2019 until 2022 he worked with Prof. Jens-Peter Majschak (TUD) on a generalized model of packaging processes and specialized in heat sealing of packaging films. He is currently finalizing his PhD thesis on this topic.
- Since 2023 he is working as a process engineer in the R&D department of Uhlmann Pac-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG, a leading supplier of packaging machines for pharmaceutical products.
